You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This role is ideal for professionals who value integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture while delivering responsive customer service and clear communication.
Requirements
- Have 1+ years' armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access control steps, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading and unloading points, buildings, and perimeter lines, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with scene control and notifications per post orders.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
