As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will drive between assigned areas and conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will stay visible, document activities, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors while providing customer-focused service. Bring a valid in-state driver’s license and support a people-first culture built on teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
  • Monitor access control points, alarms, and camera systems as assigned, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with local responders when directed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and visitor activity, and communicate key information during shift turnover.
