You will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and badge activity, and provide clear, professional customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements
- A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities facility.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting issues per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization as required, including assisting with visitor processing and directing personnel to proper locations.
- Complete routine security-related reports and logs, communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support facility operations during normal and off-hours conditions.
