As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support store teams, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication and professionalism. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Primarily driving post experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or applicable license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and associates by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and potential hazards, and communicate observations to store management and/or law enforcement as directed by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrols, and daily activities, and support security-related access control and crowd management during peak shopping periods.
