As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol key areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide clear communication, strong customer service, and timely reporting while supporting a caring, people-first team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring entry and exit activity, and directing visitors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications to site contacts, and coordination with public responders as directed.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate shift activity and equipment or facility issues to the appropriate parties.
