As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will drive between assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will greet tenants, visitors, and contractors with strong customer service and clear communication, document observations, and support site operations with teamwork and integrity in line with Allied Universal values. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property areas including building exteriors, parking areas, common areas, and/or walkways to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Control access at designated entry points by monitoring authorized access, verifying identification and/or credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, and assist with security-related checks such as door, gate and perimeter inspections.
