Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities include monitoring activity, coordinating responses, and communicating with on-site teams to help to deter incidents. This position requires driving as part of the role. You will also deliver exceptional customer service, embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity every day.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to incoming communications, including phone calls and radio transmissions, in a professional and timely manner.
  • Dispatch appropriate personnel to incidents and/or emergencies as required by site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications and incidents that occur during the shift.
  • Provide customer service by assisting tenants, visitors, and staff with inquiries and requests related to security-related matters.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
  • Coordinate with on-site security-related personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location.
  • Support emergency response activities by relaying information and coordinating with first responders when appropriate.
  • Follow site-specific procedures and protocols to address incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
