As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate officer activity, monitor alarms and cameras, manage radios and phones, and document incidents to support a consistent security-related presence. You will help teams respond to service needs, assist visitors and tenants with clear communication, and keep operations moving during busy periods. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, backed by agile, reliable teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to building tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, coordinating emergency response activities.
• Receive and prioritize incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and/or access control notifications; dispatch officers to locations across the property and track status until resolution.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm panels, and other building systems for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access by promptly communicating observations to on-site personnel and/or property management.
• Document incidents, dispatch actions, and shift activity in written logs and reports; escalate critical situations to management and/or first responders as required by post orders.
• Support regular and random patrol coverage by coordinating patrol assignments, conducting welfare checks via radio, and routing requests for assistance around the business and perimeter.
