About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch Driver in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as a Dispatch Security Officer, supporting day to day security-related operations through clear communication, incident documentation, and coordination with on site teams and public partners. You will monitor activity, manage calls and radio traffic, and help to deter issues by guiding the right response at the right time. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, backed by our agile, reliable, and integrity driven culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and callers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Operate dispatch and communications systems to receive requests for service, prioritize calls, and coordinate responses with on-site personnel and/or public partners per post orders.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control notifications; document activity and report irregular conditions through required reporting channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions and timely notifications to leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, including call details, radio traffic, and actions taken, in accordance with site-specific requirements.
