You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will communicate clearly, support access points, and act with integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology-focused location, including office areas, common spaces, and exterior perimeter areas, as permitted by site policy.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking credentials, verifying visitor purpose, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations, and communicate issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with site response actions per post orders.
Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation using written logs and/or approved electronic reporting tools.
Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering general questions, and assisting with lost and found or other site service requests within assigned scope.
Participate in required briefings and training, and follow post orders related to technology assets, restricted areas, and confidentiality expectations.
