You will conduct routine patrols, monitor key areas and entrances, maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and timely reporting. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a technology location.
Conduct access control activities such as verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and documenting entries and exits per policy.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns such as unsecured doors, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations.
Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or responding personnel as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing accurate reports, preserving scene information when appropriate, and coordinating with on-site teams and/or public responders.
