As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting mobile patrols and response. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecommunications location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, data halls, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Control access by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing employees, contractors, and visitors according to site requirements.
Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and other building systems when assigned, and report abnormal conditions and/or potential hazards to the appropriate contacts.
Complete routine patrol and incident documentation, including daily activity reports and shift hand-off notes, in accordance with site policies.
Support security-related screening and key, badge, and/or visitor pass procedures as assigned, including logging entries and exits.
Assist with emergency and non-emergency situations such as medical calls, fire alarms, and weather events by following post orders and guiding people to designated areas.
Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with client personnel, vendors, and visitors while enforcing site rules in a courteous manner.
Participate in required training and remain familiar with site-specific protocols, including confidentiality expectations common to technology-focused environments.
