As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with teams and visitors while delivering a welcoming customer experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and control entry and exit of employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures, including verifying identification and issuing visitor credentials when required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel, assisting with site notifications, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts during shift change and/or as needed.
