As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations and/or concerns. Requirements

• Have security-related experience of 2+ years.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the automotive facility, lots, service areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by greeting entrants, verifying authorization where required, issuing visitor directions, and/or monitoring contractor and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting appropriate assistance and completing required notifications.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports, perform routine checks of doors, gates, and equipment, and communicate security-related observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
