As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will focus on access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing entry and exit points, and documenting activity. You will remain visible, communicate clearly with tenants and staff, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting an agile, reliable, and innovative team culture. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor passes and/or badges, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing authorized guests to appropriate destinations.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, intercoms, and other access control systems, reporting irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services as directed and completing required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property issues; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
