Join Allied Universal at a residential community where you will support access control at entrances and amenities, greet residents and guests, verify credentials, and manage visitor and delivery activity. You will complete routine patrols, document security-related observations, and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and responding partners. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering a people-first culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community access point.
  • Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, authorizations, and visitor requests, and directing traffic flow as needed.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, intercoms, and access control systems, and report irregular activity or maintenance issues per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site staff and/or local responders as directed.
  • Complete required reports and log entries such as visitor logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate key information during shift handoff.
