Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and help to control entry and exit points for a commercial real estate location, including verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing visitors to the proper destination.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying property management and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Operate and monitor security-related systems and equipment as assigned, such as cameras, alarms, intercoms, and key control, and complete required reports and shift handoffs.
