As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will manage entry points, support badge access processes, and respond to alarm panel activity while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, document security-related observations, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors to help reduce incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing access logs, and directing authorized guests, vendors, and deliveries to the proper locations.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, access control panels, and/or other systems; report irregular activity and document observations per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with incident documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
