As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and monitor activity around docks, yards, and access points. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond professionally to issues as they arise. Bring an agile, reliable mindset, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter zones to help to discourage unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving traffic, verifying credentials, directing visitors and drivers, and maintaining access logs per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Complete routine reports and documentation, communicate findings to the appropriate personnel, and escalate unusual conditions such as damaged doors, open gates, broken seals, or suspicious activity.
