As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report concerns, and deliver helpful customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $20.64 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the lobby, drive-up and/or ATM areas, offices, parking areas and the perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, medical events and/or suspicious activity, and request assistance as needed.
  • Control access to restricted areas and support orderly movement of employees, vendors and visitors by verifying authorization and documenting activity in the required logs and/or systems.
  • Complete routine reports and timely notifications for incidents, patrol findings and/or client requests, helping to deter theft, vandalism and other policy violations.
