As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible security-related presence, and help to deter unwanted activity. You will greet employees and visitors, monitor access points and key areas, respond to incidents, and document observations clearly. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and escalating per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining required logs and reports.
- Perform routine observations of doors, gates, alarms, and cameras where applicable, and communicate unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
