As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, while documenting activity and using a computer and/or tablet as needed. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of Security Experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Help to monitor access points and interior areas, greet and direct visitors, and assist with visitor management and/or credential checks per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, alarms, and requests for assistance from staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes as applicable, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate clearly with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership to support security-related operations and incident follow-up.
