You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document activity with clear communication. Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access policies at an automotive facility.
• Manage access control at entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
• Monitor gates, doors, and other controlled access areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, tailgating, and policy violations, escalating concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
