As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through professional customer service, clear communication, and prompt reporting of security-related concerns. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with onsite leadership and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points by observing foot traffic, verifying authorized entry when required, and documenting unusual activity according to post orders.
• Complete routine documentation such as shift logs and incident reports, and communicate observations and/or changes in conditions to Allied Universal management and the client representative.
