As an unarmed patrol officer at a cultural institution outdoor location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist guests, staff, and vendors with clear communication and friendly service. You will conduct routine rounds, document observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout outdoor public spaces, facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management and/or access control as directed by site procedures.
- Monitor and report security-related concerns such as suspicious behavior, property damage, hazards, and/or disorderly conduct, and document observations in required reports.
- Coordinate with site representatives and local public services as needed, communicate directions to guests, and maintain a professional presence in a cultural location where working conditions may vary.
