Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy public location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, putting people first while acting with integrity and delivering through teamwork.

Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned public facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing de-escalation, assistance with access control, and timely notification to appropriate personnel and/or public services.
• Monitor assigned areas for unusual activity, enforce posted rules and regulations as directed, and support crowd and/or traffic flow during public events or peak periods.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and interactions, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and/or handoffs.
