As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to client and visitor needs with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license to support mobile patrols and site coverage. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial services location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and lobby areas, verify authorization where required, and assist with visitor management processes according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate updates to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
