About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driver in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to support patrol coverage and quick response. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, representing Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, lobby areas, offices, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and/or medical situations until additional help arrives.
  • Monitor and control access by observing visitor, employee, and vendor traffic, helping to enforce site rules and directing individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
  • Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and report maintenance hazards or security-related concerns.
