About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driver in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to support patrol coverage and quick response. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, representing Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, lobby areas, offices, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and/or medical situations until additional help arrives.
Monitor and control access by observing visitor, employee, and vendor traffic, helping to enforce site rules and directing individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and report maintenance hazards or security-related concerns.
