You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Have an armed guard card/license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have a guard card/license, preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with orderly entry and exit for employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation; communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
