As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents at a government location. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification required for Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location.
Monitor and control access to designated areas, verifying credentials and permissions as required.
Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or prohibited activities within the government facility environment.
