As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. You will support a caring team that values integrity, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving, while staying agile and reliable as you document activity and assist with security-related needs across the location.

Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties as assigned, maintaining a professional presence and following all post orders and use-of-force guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and lobby and/or ATM areas as applicable, helping to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
