As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support customers and staff with professional communication, document activity, and respond to situations following site procedures. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter doors, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol activity, incident reports, and service requests, and communicate key information during post turnovers.
