Requirements

Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings according to site protocols.
Assist with the enforcement of site rules and regulations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters and incidents.
Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site procedures.
