Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols in a financial institution environment. Your visible presence and professional approach will support a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors. Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all individuals at the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the interior and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted incidents.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of all patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during critical situations.
Enforce access control protocols and verify identification as required for entry to restricted areas.
Remain alert and observant at all times, reporting any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate parties.
