As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with clients and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related risks.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or customers while maintaining a strong security-related presence.
Follow all applicable legal requirements and company policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
Participate in site-specific training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties.
