You will help to deter incidents through presence, report writing, and strong customer service. Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols at regular and random intervals throughout sales floors, common areas, back-of-house spaces, receiving areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, respond to alarms, and observe customer and employee activity for policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior; communicate concerns to site leadership and law enforcement when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, report writing, and coordination of medical, fire, and/or police response as needed.
• Complete required documentation such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and maintain required weapons, training, and post orders compliance in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
