As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within financial institutions, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the location to help to deter potential threats.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing security-related duties.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Carry and appropriately handle authorized firearms in accordance with company policy, training, and applicable laws and regulations.
