As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure while addressing the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the facility and around the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.
Work closely with healthcare staff to support security-related needs and contribute to a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific policies.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of situations as they arise, adapting to the unique needs of a healthcare location.
