As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the financial services sector, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with individuals in a professional manner, deliver excellent customer service, and respond to various situations as they arise. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out armed security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal management.
Provide customer service to individuals at the financial institution location, addressing inquiries and assisting with access as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institutions.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
Assist with access control, verifying identification and authorization of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
Participate in emergency response activities, such as evacuations or lockdowns, when appropriate and as directed.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations while on duty.
