As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Customer service experience is preferred..
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed patrol officers.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the commercial real estate location.
Report and document any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents according to Allied Universal policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Maintain professional communication with tenants, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Adhere to all company protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
