Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or breaches of protocol within the location.
Maintain awareness of all entry and exit points and report any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with the enforcement of access control procedures and visitor management processes as required by site-specific guidelines.
Operate as an armed security professional, following all applicable regulations and protocols related to the carrying and use of firearms.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed during emergency and non-emergency situations.
