As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. You will interact with employees and visitors, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the food and beverage production location.
Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity.
Maintain accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by the site.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to address questions or concerns related to access procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to provide feedback on security-related procedures and suggest improvements where appropriate.
