As an Allied Universal team member assigned to an access control post in a residential location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and provide a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors as per site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting residents and guests with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance issues according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with property management and/or emergency services when necessary to support a secure environment for residents and guests.
