As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service, supporting a trustworthy and welcoming environment. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to identify and report unusual activity.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access procedures and answering questions related to site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
- Support Allied Universal and client leadership by maintaining awareness of site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
