Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your daily duties while remaining visible and assisting with access control. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the manufacturing and industrial location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Maintain detailed logs of all access activities and report any irregularities or security-related incidents.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related breaches.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and site-specific policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate security-related concerns and/or emergencies as required.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site protocols.
