Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your daily duties while remaining visible and assisting with access control. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all access activities and report any irregularities or security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related breaches.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate security-related concerns and/or emergencies as required.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site protocols.
