Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrols in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide assistance as needed. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.38 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, assist with emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the facility to help to deter unauthorized access.
Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal at the location.
