As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the location.
- Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and vendors to provide assistance or information as needed.
- Complete required documentation and/or incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Support emergency response activities, including evacuation and/or lockdown procedures, as directed by Allied Universal protocols or client instructions.
