Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial services location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, offices, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting hazards and reporting concerns per post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or management as required by site procedures.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining sign-in and badge logs in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete written reports and shift activity logs, documenting observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicating relevant information during post turnover.
