As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors through professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, ATM and drive-up areas, and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Monitor entrances and restricted areas, verify authorized access for employees, vendors, and visitors, and assist with directing foot traffic as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, alarms, and/or medical situations per post orders.
- Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and policy exceptions, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
