About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol - Weekdays in Cayce, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, members, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, greet and direct visitors, help manage entry and exit in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor activity as required.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, alarms, and/or hazards, complete routine activity and incident reports, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.
